====== CatchGroup.txt ======

The file is located in the [[start:hype_file_reference:info.txt&#model_options|modeldir]] folder. The file is used in the  parameter regionalization method for the calculation of regional parameters as a linear funtion of a set of catchment descriptors. This is used when model option ''regestimate'' is set in [[start:hype_file_reference:info.txt|info.txt]]. The file [[start:hype_file_reference:reg_par.txt|reg_par.txt]] contains coefficients for the linear estimator for each group. The catchment descriptors which are used in the stimator are given in [[start:hype_file_reference:catchdes.txt|CatchDes.txt]].

The file gives the group number to which each subbasin belongs. Groups are numbered 1, 2 and up. The number on the i<sup>th</sup> row shows the group number of the i<sup>th</sup> subbasin in the same order as in [[start:hype_file_reference:geodata.txt|GeoData.txt]]. The file has no heading, and no extra columns are allowed.
