The file is created in the same folder as [[start:hype_file_reference:info.txt|info.txt]] is located. The file is written during simulation with information on progress, warning messages and error messages. In the end, simulation performance is printed (similar to the information in [[start:hype_file_reference:simass.txt|simass.txt]]).

If a sequence number (//seqnr//) was given when starting the simulation (see [[start:#how_to_run_hype|How to run HYPE]]), the //seqnr// is used in the file name. For other simulations the //seqnr// is 000.
